WooHoo 0 #1 January 12, 2007 I bought a second hand rig, which had a big old hackey which I assumed was an indutry standard. I have recently bought a brand new rig (Vector 3), and the hackey on the 24" pilot chute, is smaller, and feels considerably smaller in my mitt. There was no option on hackey size when I bought it. So how would I get a bigger hackey fitted. With the same pattern, can comeone make it for me or would RW be the place to start? Thanks
skydiverek 55 #2 January 12, 2007 Is it perfectly round, or slightly oval shape? I thougt that V3 hacekys were smaller and lighhtly oval shape, to create less probability of cathing/hitching bridle underneath it. Anyone?
parafredo 0 #3 January 12, 2007 Better keep the new hackey from RWS.Less weight on pilot chute that might create problems with the bridle.
