FlyinDawg 0 #1 April 23, 2007 I'm not sure, if anyone posted it or hear of this happened in St. John county, where I went to deaf high school (not BTHS). I forgot to post the news for while. ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- The day after a 14-year-old student at Bartram Trail High School was arrested, a judge ordered him to be detained in a juvenile center for three weeks. Deputies said that the suspect, whose identity has not been revealed because of his age, made a shooting threat via e-mail. According to investigators, the teen threatened to top Monday's shooting at Virginia Tech, where a shooter killed 32 people and then himself. Deputies said in his e-mail, which was sent to a friend but intercepted by a parent, the Bartram student set a goal to kill 100 victims. The teen is charged with threat to throw, project, place or discharge any destructive device, which is a second-degree felony. In a message on the Web site for Bartram Trail High School, Principal Brennan Asplen said classes would be held on Friday as usual. He stated that the school and its student are safe, and that as an added precaution on Friday there would be extra supervision from the sheriff's office and the school district.Flyin' Dawg or SkyDog "To understand is to forgive, even oneself." BillyVance 34 #3 April 28, 2007 There have been a few other people across the country who have made threats to out-do Cho's rampage at Virginia Tech. This happens every time there's a massacre on a school campus.
