Sounded like he chopped the main didn't leave and he pulled his reserve around 1k but nothing happened. It was a guy spinning violently, and fighting his cutaway cable (you can see it in the video). Bout the time he gets it cut away, and reserve deployed he impacts in a field and lives. It was all cut into the scene from Fandango.
