GARYC24 3 #1 September 4, 2007 I was in a bar this weekend and they had a pay computer to search internet. Cost was $1 for 6 minutes. Anyone else seen these or am I behind the times ? Gary
Scoop 0 #2 September 4, 2007 I've seen them in obvious cyber cafe locations but the only time I've seen them available in a bar is at Empuriabrava in Spain. When its shit weather you end up paying a fortune to that blasted computer!
Slappie 9 #3 September 4, 2007 QuoteCost was $1 for 6 minutes. $10 an hour is a bit pricey. I've not seen many cyber cafes in the Houston area. They're normally only $3-5hr depending on what you're doing. Gary Most international airports have them. I needed to use one a couple months ago to send email when I didn't have a pager and was picking up someone whose plane was late. I am not going to pay just to surf dz.com or play around. They are there for a purpose. But in a bar? You have GOT to be a total loser if you're in a bar and pay to get on the internet in there.
