freefallfreak 0 #1 February 27, 2008 "I'm not talking about millennium, And I don't wanna' change your life. But there's a warm wind blowing the stars around, and I really wanna' see you tonight." Ok...it's been running around inside my head for a couple of days and I swear, I can't remember who wrote it, who sang it or even when it came out. Any help here? Lindercles 0 #3 February 27, 2008 It's "I'm not talking about moving in" and it's called "I'd really love to see you tonight" by England Dan & John Ford Coley. Edit: It's also "there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out. . . " unless he was on a lot of acid, which is a distinct possibility.
lawrocket 3 #4 February 27, 2008 Hmm. I never knew the "moving in" part. I always thought it was "reliving" Then again, for a while I thought "Groovin'" was about a threesome. "That would be ecstasy. You and me and Leslie Groovin'" WHen it was "you and me endlessly." My wife is hotter than your wife.
freefallfreak 0 #5 February 27, 2008 I get words wrong a lot, lol. But thanks. That tune has been driving me crazy for a couple of days and I couldn't seem to get it out of my head. I think it has to do with my second wife - she's a Linda Hamilton look alike and I haven't seen her in over 25 years but heard from her a couple of days ago. Thats when the song started in my head. Thanks again, guys. TripleF "Upon seeing the shadow of a pigeon, one must resist the urge to look up."
PLFKING 3 #6 February 27, 2008 Quote Thats when the song started in my head. Just be grateful it wasn't the voices again. And remember....."There's a bathroom on the right." jkm2500 0 #7 February 27, 2008 That song was spoofed in the movie "The Long Kiss Goodnight". Samuel L. Jackson sang the lyrics: "I'm not talking about the linens" the lyrics: Hello, yeah, it's been a while. Not much, how 'bout you? I'm not sure why I called, I guess I really just wanted to talk to you. And I was thinking maybe later on, We could get together for a while. It's been such a long time, And I really do miss your smile. I'm not talking 'bout moving in, And I don't want to change your life. But there's a warm wind blowing, The stars are out, and I'd really love to see you tonight. We could go walking through a windy park, Or take a drive along the beach. Or stay at home and watch t.v. You see, it really doesn't matter much to me. I'm not talking 'bout moving in, And I don't want to change your life. But there's a warm wind blowing, The stars are out, and I'd really love to see you tonight. I won't ask for promises, So you won't have to lie. We've both played that game before, Say I love you, then say goodbye. I'm not talking 'bout moving in, And I don't want to change your life. But there's a warm wind blowing, The stars are out, and I'd really love to see you tonightThe primary purpose of the Armed Forces is to prepare for and to prevail in combat should the need arise. freefallfreak 0 #8 February 27, 2008 Lol...I only listen to the voices occasionally. They've gotten quieter lately and haven't made me take long trips for sexual marathons sessions with strangers. freefallfreak 0 #9 February 27, 2008 Btw, I pulled a Billy V. I lipread the link above and also one on youtube by Don Seals. The conclusion is this - I was right about the line "There's a warm wind blowing the stars around". Hey, I gotta pull my butt out of the fire somehow, lol.
