spindlee 0 #1 January 27, 2009 Hey all, I'm away in a month or so on a deployment to the US, right... all my food and accom is paid for etc and i will not be spending a penny for 5 months! Therefore when i return i will be loaded () I will have about 5 weeks leave and a shed load of cash. So my question to you is, what is the easist and best way to get the maximum amount of jumps in, I don't care if i have to live in a tent for 5 weeks as it will be summer time anyway. I am planning on just buying 100/150 jump tickets and just being a bum for a while and live like a slob living off cheap food. Anybody had a similar situation?? My main goal is to just rack up as many jumps as possible If in doubt, whip it out...
NWFlyer 2 #2 January 27, 2009 Get thee to Lodi (aka The Parachute Center). $13/jump if purchased in blocks. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. DrewEckhardt 0 #5 January 27, 2009 Quote WOW! now that's cheap! But then i might lose out on the travel expenses too. Gas is cheap so the airlines have lower expenses. People aren't travelling for fun because of the economy so they have seats to fill. So it's cheap to fly right now. For instance, there are $200 flights from Boston to San Francisco which is nearly as far as you can travel within the continental US.
spindlee 0 #6 January 28, 2009 I won't be traveling until August anyway so might be different prices by then. I just want somwhere where i can go and bang out 100 or so jumps within a month. US sounds good because of the weather etc I'll tent it wherever i end up. I would like to jump overseas for sure, it will be a different experience for me.If in doubt, whip it out...
