nerdgirl 0 #1 April 2, 2009 Attempting to tap into that wealth of esoteric knowledge residing in DZ.com ... Does anyone know whether Folha is Brazil’s version of New York Times, the Weekly World News, or somewhere in between? I've never heard of it (or any other Brazilian newspaper), and I can’t read Portuguese. Emailed a couple Latin American specialist friends … curious if I get a substantive answer here first. /Marg Act as if everything you do matters, while laughing at yourself for thinking anything you do matters. marcandalysse 0 #4 April 3, 2009 Estado de Sao Paulo is more like an NYTimes, but Folha is an easier more interesting read in my opinion. Those are the popular Sao Paulo reads. In Rio, the Jornal do Brasil is the best... Veja is a great weekly news magazine. You can look at them online. ate mais, marc "The reason angels can fly is that they take themselves so lightly." --GK Chesterton
