Anyone know about how big hail balls have to be to dent a car and/or break windshields? The storms formed ~100mi SE of here and nailed my parents in Kennewick WA. No hail - just t-storms. I called my dad to tell him a cell would hit within minutes and he told me the rain just started moving sideways. They are now predicting just plain old thunderstorms here tonight.
