justme12001 0 #3 September 25, 2014 I pulled up Fort Campbell on Google Earth and found two air fields near it. One on the North end and one on the south-east end. I am not sure if either of these are where the old DZ used to be, but I saw no sign of a pea pit at either. Having said that, I looked up two DZs that I am very familiar with to use as a reference and found the pea pits very quickly and easily.

The North is the actual FW airfield (Campbell Army Airfield), the South is a helicopter field (Sabre Army Heliport). There was a DZ across from gate 3 at Outlaw Airfield but it's gone now (moved to Waverly). There is no FTCKY sport parachute club. There IS the 101st Airborne Division Parachute Team though. I don't remember if Son DZ was still in use for HALO (group guys) or static line (also group guys)."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
