Second childhood; and what a way to have it! A need for speed!
I travel a lot, and like my flying (aircraft) I never visit a state without doing a flight, now I have a new goal of making jumps from a new DZ every trip.

Piloting and skydiving go well together (just not usually in the same flight ). I did an x/c flight this morning and will be jumping this afternoon - yeah!

California is my home base, Long Beach. and I travel a lot to Muskogee OK, Oologah OK (where I an doing AFF right now, trip also include Pensacola FL, Mobile AL areas of GA and AZ.

My first tandum was to be at Mobile after an afternoon of aerobatics, but my jumpmaster lost his toggle on entry, well, he was not walking to well,,, small note, it was his 1600 jump and first boo-boo.

So to that, my first was in Taft, CA.

fantastic info, I'm going to plot this out.

looks like when I get back home, I have a small round robin of 5 DZ's to do in California, may add one more in to make a six-pack for the day.

x/c = cross-country. I've got a private, now building x/c PIC hours to get my instrument (I'm done with most of the instrument skills stuff).

Now my only problem is that I have two nice-weather-only, weekend-only hobbies - what to do?!!

That's funny - my first tandem was also after I had just done aerobatics (Extra 300L in 'Vegas). I had never planned on jumping, but my acro instructor suggested that I try it. You know the rest of the story
