where do i jump in the south of france?

hello everyone my name is melanie day and ive just registered with dropzone.com after my lovely freind tilly told me id get loads of advice and help here, so id never be alone again! ive just moved to france {avignon} and just found out where my local dz is {pujaut} and it doesnt open till 8th FEBRUARY!! can you believe that, back home the dz is always open and the weathers pants here the weathers great and the dz is shut! think someone got it the wrong way round oh well i found a great guy phillippe who jumps at pujaut and he said the manager speaks english great aye, esp for me who is pathetic at the lingo, oh well if anyone is reading this and jumps there say hi. happy new year everyone and blue skies foreverxxx

I have the same problem here (Bordeaux) all the dz around are closed. My Dz goes to Senegal during winter. It sucks mostly when you see the great weather we have here today :-(

GAP is very nice. I jumped there for a couple of weeks back in september. go to this link to see a photo from the DZ. Mountains all around.-Tony

yeah, from Avignon you're approx 3 or 4 hour drive to Empuria, open all year long...
or go to the mountains, Gap, Chambéry, or maybe try Le Luc or places like that.
and would be cool to fill in your profile a bit
