scotts 0 #1 March 15, 2004 I washed my Talon in cold water and my rigger (whom i've used before), said they had a helluva time repacking my reserve. My main canopy fits tighter than usual too. This hasn't been a problem in the past. Is it possible that my container would have shrunk? Has anyone else had this happen?
nightjumps 1 #2 March 15, 2004 Quotecold water... shrunk? You must have missed that episode of Seinfeld. Shrinks a wee bit, but it'll stretch back out.

PhreeZone 15 #5 March 15, 2004 Packing in the midwest in winter sucks bad. All canopies pack larger due to the low humidity and the cold air. I know of one rigger that stores unpacked canopies in a room with a humidifier set to about 60% so they pack normal sized.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
