Skydive Kentucky - Elizabethtown

I am 89 yrs. young and jumped yesterday for the third time in five years. This was the best experience I've ever had. I'm planning on jumping again at 92 yrs. old! I would definitely recommend going to Skydive Kentucky for your jumps!

I went to Skydive Kentucky with a group of friends, they were all jumping and I was going to watch. After sitting through the instruction with Larry Compton, it was obvious he knew what he was doing and made me feel safe enough to do it. I am so glad I did because it was one of the best days of my life! Greg Compton is an awesome photographer as well as skydiver, so if you go, make sure you save up enough to get the video and pictures, because they are worth every cent!! Everyone there from the front desk to the instructors (especially) to the packers are professional and just all around great people! If you can only do something extraordianary once in your life go out to Skydive, KY and tandem! You will remember it forever!

Excellent Dropzone. I arrived at 10 am, needed a little help to get my chute repacked and Jim the DZ Owner was there with hands on to help teach me a different way to pack. I like it.

From entering the hanger to landing on the Dropzone. Everyone was more than willing to come and talk, help, and just be plain old friendly.

The only thing that I can say, is if you are coming from out of town to jump here make sure that you get the beer before you arrive. It is a Dry county down there and the closest beer for first is 20 miles away : )

It was a life changing event and the people at skydive kentucky were very friendly and helpful.

Mike, Greg, and everyone there were great! From the sky you can see the Ohio River, Louisville's airport, and the surrounding farmland. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. I had a badly bruised knee from a ski injury and didn't feel any pain at all.
I can't wait to do it again!

Fun jumper in the area for a day, it was freaking cold outside, no tandems were scheduled but we still managed to do 3 loads. Jim to DZO is great, really makes you feel welcome. Facilities are really nice, indoor, heated hangar. Great place to come hang out even if not much jumping is going on.

Thank you skydive KY for all the good times. Jim, you have taught me all I know. Tim, you save my life. Aaron, you are a packing machine! Randy, welcome to the team and for all your excellent guidance! And all the rest of you, thank you for making my experiences fantastic! I will be back for more.

My niece jumped on October 21st. The entire staff was professional, friendly and made us feel like we were their most important client. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and explained every thing in detail. We would greatly recommend SKYDIVE KY LLC. Thank you everyone at SKYDIVE KY LLC for a wonderful experience. The best dropzone for 150 miles around. Love the Turbines you bring in, keep them coming. Nice Cessna 182, good climber. Im sold! The King Air pilot you had for the specialty aircraft weekend had his game on!

Skydive Kentucky was a GREAT place to learn to parachute! The staff makes you feel like family and the training was fabulous. There was never a moment that I doubted my training, my instructor, or the staff. I can't wait to return!

- I can not say enough about the people and the joking around which kept you loose before the jump - the biggest problem I had was getting out on the wing and letting go of the airplane after that it was exhilarating experience I have ever had and the only thing I could equate it to is flying in the back seat of a fighter jet.thanks for the experience you have an awesome group of people there.

My first time skydiving. The group there was funny and had no problem answering any questions I had. They made it an overall great experience and I will defiantly be going back.

I went with a group to do my first tandem, and I have to say my experience got me hooked! I'm planning to take the AFF courses to get my A license. Hilarious staff made the wait bearable. If going, be prepared to wait (up to) several hours due to weather>>good thing though, cause I appreciate not dying. I want to be a jump videographer after going here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SKYDIVE KENTUCKY!

I'm brand new to this sport and got my beginning with my first tandem years ago in New Jersey. I moved around a bit since then and have landed in KY. I went to SkydiveKY because they were the closest to me. I first did a tandem with Jim Moore the owner and had a wonderful time. I discussed my desire to get licensed and he talked with me until he ran out of things to say. he answered all of my questions, was very polite and courteous. I have since returned for my license via a staticline progression program. Jim, Rusty, Shawn, Nick, Larry, Bill, Boz, Doc, Aaron, Tammy, and anyone I may have forgotten have made my time there a very worthwhile investment. I cannot wait to continue diving at this fine establishment.
I recommend SkydiveKY to all who are just the least bit serious about the sport. be it tandem, AFF, or staticline, Skydive will suit your needs!

Skydive Kentucky is by far one of the best experiences of my life. The staff was very professional, very thorough, and very friendly. I had no problem putting my life in the hands of their very experienced staff. My jump was with Larry. Earlier that day he had his 3000th jump. I couldn't imagine the day any better than it was. Truly an enormous Thank You goes out to all of the staff at Skydive Kentucky!

This was my first skydive. The staff was incredibly friendly, and always happy to answer any questions. We had to wait for the wind to die down, and the instructor for the static line class waited several hours with us until we were able to jump. The atmosphere was great too. I'll definitely be back.

My experience with Skydive Kentucky was stellar. The staff was friendly and welcoming; the instructors knew exactly what they were doing and were also very friendly. I had no trouble trusting them with my life and well being. They fully explained everything I needed to know and what would happen. The plane ride up was smooth and the views were great! The jump cannot be described in words. Every aspect of my experience at Skydive Kentucky was beyond excellent. I would jump again with them in a second and look forward to possibly pursuing training with them. Skydiving is an amazing experience, and Skydive Kentucky is an amazing place to experience it!

The staff at Skydive Kentucky were some of the nicest and most congenial people I have been around in a working environment. They made me and my friend feel absolutely comfortable, and made us feel extremely welcome. During our wait to skydive we felt like we were hanging out with a large group of friends.

The experience itself was amazing, and like nothing I have ever done before. The instructors made it so easy for us as beginners, and really made the jump unforgettable. The scenery around this dropzone is breathtaking, and you really get a good view of Kentucky landscape.

I would recommend this dropzone to anyone and everyone.

After several years away from the sport due to a lot of different reasons I felt it was time to ease back into the sport. I contacted Jim Moore, an old friend from days past, He invited me down to SkydiveKY and helped me with everything I needed. He and his staff made my day. They made me feel like I had never been gone. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone wanting to get into this sport. You will not be sorry.

WOW- First tandem skydive in my 58 years. Did it with my 18 yr old daughter for her birthday. We were both treated with respect and a calm, caring manner from all the staff. Quick instruction, but plenty of time to have anything repeated to make sure you understand. Jim was our instructor and tandem jumpmaster and I can't say enough about how much he made the experience truly amazing and fun. I'd recommend him and the facility to anyone. Go skydive - it's FUN!

I've never been sky diving before. So I went for the experience of falling out of a plane. I never expected the experience of the service I got when I was there. Great Staff, Knowledgeable and helpful the entire time. Accomodating to my wishes. Now, I have two great memories, not just one.

We had a group of 8, all doing our first tandem skydive. It was awesome! The staff and crew were super nice and helpful. They knew what they were doing and made us feel at ease. I would recommend them to anyone. We had the best time. Greg was my "jumpmaster" and my "best friend for the day". Believe it or not I was not scared at all! I also had my jump videoed so Nick jumped with us. He was a hoot. All 8 of us are still talking about this day. We are already making plans to do it again and taking more people with us.

Today was my very first tandem jump at Skydive Kentucky! I had the most amazing time! The staff made me feel welcome from the first moment I stepped in the door. I was a bit nervous about jumping out of a perfectly good plane, but the staff made me feel comfortable and safe. Greg made me feel calm as possible when hanging from an airplane. Nick was a hilarious videographer!! Everyone had me laughing all day long. The staff did their best to make sure everyone had an awesome experience. We were not let down! No one could talk about anything else all day! I am anxiously awaiting my video and pictures! For the raw footage I saw, they are going to be great! I can't wait to jump again...maybe even work towards my own license, who knows!
