- Spanish Open Nationals 2007 - by Rob McVey
Canopy pilots from across the globe descended on Skydive Lillo for this year's perfectly primed competition. The fully equipped drop zone hosted five action packed days of non-stop swooping including upgrading their existing pond to 15 feet, with a new accuracy pit, competition speed carving course and freshly fitted gate alarms.

Jeffro Provenzano has won the PST's 2006 Mile Hi Canopy Cup and $6,000 in cash! 27 Pro/Am qualified pilots competed in the eight round competition which featured two rounds of Speed, Distance, Accuracy and Freestlyle.

Duane Hall has won the 1st ever ground launching Blade running event at the Ground Launch Center in California. The ground launching competition was the last event of the 2005 U.S. Canopy Piloting Grand Prix.

- The 3rd Annual Freefly Money Meet at Skydive Arizona - by Amy Chmelecki
The Third Annual Freefly Money Meet at Skydive Arizona will be held on February 18-20, 2004. This very unique style competition is a great way meet new people, jump with them as well as compete against them. In each of five rounds you will be randomly matched with a different partner of similar flying ability. Your partner in each round will be competing against you on other teams during the other rounds.

- The Finnish swoopers at their Best - by Marjaana
The Finnish elite of skydiving got together in Helsinki, at Hietaniemi beach. The event site was located only a stone throw away from the very centre of the capital of Finland. Nine parachutists were invited to take part into Red Bull Swoop, which was a distance competition.

- SSI PRO TOUR Circuit Gears Up for 2000 and Beyond
The 2000 SSI Open is being held as a "virtual competition" and open audition from which at least seven Skysurfing teams will be selected based on tapes submitted by May 31, 2000. Teams selected will be invited to take part in the sixth annual SSI Skysurfing competition within the 2000 ESPN X Games, where all ten places will share in a record cash purse.

- First Southwest Skydiving Meet at Skydive Arizona Completed - by Graham Harding
A special note of thanks to everyone for their participation in our first Southwest Skydiving Meet. We had a great start to the season. In total we had 5 Open Division teams and 4 Recreational Teams. A great turn out considering an unavoidable conflict with Perris Valley's Iron Crank this weekend.

- 2000 Skydive America Palm Beach Space Games # 8 Report
Space Games # 8 took place at Skydive America Palm Beach Florida, from the 28th January to the 6th February. Everything went very smoothly with all the Games. More precision and control was requested for the Races and as expected everybody's flying skill level was much higher then previous Space Games.

- Airspeed Vertical takes Gold in NSL Valentine's Meet at Skydive Eloy - by Kurt Gaebel
The 4-way competition of the Valentine's Meet at Skydive Eloy in Arizona is already completed. After six rounds, Airspeed Vertical took the first place, three points ahead of DeLand PD Blue. The Golden Knights Gold team took third place. The second Airspeed 4-way team Zulu finished fourth, two points ahead of Elsinore 4.

- Gearing Up the Southwest Skydiving League - by Eric Asendorf
There is much excitement in the southwest when it comes to RW competitions this year. The newly formed Southest Skydiving League will kick off on March 25 at Skydive Arizona. There will be a total of six meets split between Perris Valley Skydiving, Skydive Elsinore and Skydive Arizona.
