  1. awe thank you everyone!

I have been spending my birthday (luckily I have today off :P) working on my motorcycle. A little quite time with me and my baby. Replaced the plugs, oil, oil filter, new type of coolant. I should get the K&N air filter this week.

I am a firm believer of separatism.

    Quote

Separatism refers to the advocacy of a state of cultural, ethnic, tribal, religious, racial or gender separation from the larger group, often with demands for greater political autonomy and even for full political secession and the formation of a new state.[

    Quote

Black separatism is a separatist political movement that seeks a separate homeland for black people. Parallel to white separatism, there also exists a similarly black separatist movement, particularly in the United States. Black separatists generally think that white people are racist oppressors of black people, and that black people can not advance in a society dominated by white people. They believe the only solution is for black people to break away and create a separate society controlled by persons of African descent.

The more specific goals were historically in flux and varied from group to group. Martin Delany in the 19th century and Marcus Garvey in the 1920s outspokenly called for African Americans to return to Africa, by moving to Liberia. Benjamin "Pap" Singleton looked to form separatist colonies in the American West. The Nation of Islam calls, much more quietly, for an independent black state on American soil. Much more mainstream views within black separatism hold that black people would be better served by schools and businesses exclusively for black people, and by black local politicians and police.

The mainstream black separatism is an unknown group who supported anti-segregationists and integrationists within the African American community. They generally hold that black people can and should advance within the larger American society and call on them to work to achieve that through personal improvement, educational achievement, business involvement, and political action. Martin Luther King, who was a key speaker and leader in the political effort to overthrow segregation in the 1960s, and Malcolm X, who until May 21, 1964 was known as a black separatist from the Nation of Islam, may personify the opposition between the two views.

I'm all for raising it a few years. However, we'd also need to raise the age for the draft. It's not right to tell someone he's old enough to go to war, but not old enough to vote out the people willing to send him there.

ALSO NOTE: That If you can go to war for your country at 18 you SHOULD BE ABLE TO DRINK.

    That is all

  8. The trunk.... well... I'd say close it so a "bad guy" can't get into it and grab a weapon, no matter how slim the chance...

I would say know that a lot of LEO's do not get that much weapons training or follow up training after they complete the "training" course. I say this being someone, who was at the end of a live glock, of an officer that did not know how to release a magazine from a very simular weapons system. Being in the Army... her stance is as messed up as a football bat. But we can't fault her can we, she si only the result of her training right?

As far as her forearm... I finally saw the "missing" piece... :$

    #1 the trunk
    #2 her stance
#3 the way she is holding the rifle... (part of her arm is missing)

The trunk is probably cracked open because she just retrieved the rifle from there.

That right elbow is cranked way up in the air, which is really weird. It's my understanding that the Army used to teach a 90-degree angle between the body and right arm, to help create a "pocket" for the buttstock and mitigate against recoil. But recoil isn't a factor for an AR15. And that stance just makes for a lot of wobble.

Part of her left forearm appears to be missing, but if you look closely it's in shadow behind the magazine and rifle forearm.

Rule 2: Finger OFF the trigger until you are about to shoot.

Breaking rule 2 is the cause of 99+% of all "accidental" (actually NEGLIGENT) discharges.

80% of NEGLIGENT discharges are done by law enforcement...? i heard a rumor..:o

  13. Hey, Knowing what little I know about the "news paper industry," I would not be discouraged at all. There are a zillion "11th hour" things that are occuring before they go to print. If you are lucky you can get the nickname "deadline" for making all yoru suspenses.

    best of luck sweety. :)
