I did my first wingsuitjump in 1988. Another 50 until 1994. Anyway, we are all heroes.

Germany got like 50 DZ. But only 4 are full time. The velcro on the first prototype covered the rescue chute for the wing. Christoph -
The last days I read a lot about Felix, the most of it was´nt very charming for him. I never met this man, but I thing what he did is very impressing. Could it be that some people are just upset that he got all the puplic? After I did the first ram air wingsuitjumps from 1988 to 1994, Patric started the same thing, a little better promoted. After I did the first skyrayjumps in 1999, Felix started the same thing, also a little better promoted. But you know what, I dont care. What I did was for myself. Some people know that it was kind of pioneer stuff, most did´nt reconised. When you start doing something new, be sure not running after glory. If you dont do it for yourself and the pure fun of flying you having the wrong goals. On the other hand there are a lot of people needing this puplic, which is ok for them; I´m happy not being one of them. Christoph

Flying a skyray is truely something else than hanggliding. Yourself and the wing is one piece. No steeringmechanics between . C. Quote

The skyray project is still (like it always is) running. You wanna fly horizontal with up to 250k/h groundspeed? stay in contact. www.fsc.daedalus.de->news forum www.freesky.de take care Christoph Aarns

Right now we think about 500 jumps minimum to jump the wing. But like wingsuits, it is more what you can do than the number of jumps. If someone visit our place, and I do not know him, we go up and do a jump together before he jumps the skyray

The skyray is a lot more powerfull than any wingsuit. We jumped with gps datalogger and showed some real horizontal flight with 250km/h groundspeed. Exiting a twin otter is also no problem. Who ever is interesting in our project visit our page www.freesky.de
