Ratings and Rigging

  • Pro Rating
    Yes
  1. Well, used rig in US is usually considered as close to prefect here in Serbia. So many of our skydivers were trying to do something about it. A friend of mine told me "I was on the Internet day and night, begging, crying, embarassing my country, just in order to get something for free. But, after months of negotitations and hundreds of e-mails I realized that the price of transport and customs is higher than the worth of the donation." The reason is simple: if you do it ad hoc, a piece per time, this math is true. But if we manage to organize things in clever way (and it should be us to do it, not you guys, we are the ones that will use the gear after all), gather it all in one place and then ship it to Serbia, it might work. We are working heavily to make this happen and will inform all of you as soon as we find a good solution. Meanwhile, see if some other people you know, in your DZ or some friend of yours have something to donate. And yes, even goggles or flysuit or helmet is welcomed too, not only Cypress or some expensive stuff. What we do in our lives, echoes in eternity.
  2. You are right, Dejan was in Lisicji jarak, it's our home DZ. And yes, K1 is really a museum piece! Thanks god, even here it is going out of use, your 70% estimation is way to high since the Kluz factory issued a document that they no longer want to take responsibilities for gear they made that's older than 15 years. Also, local skydiving authorities are doing all they can to make this sport safe in Serbia. In past few competitions I went, everybody had 3ring. Still, only few (I can remember 5) Cypreses exist in civil use here (some special forces have more of them). So, what do you think about this "sales result" in a 10 million country for Cypres? Wouldn't they rather offer something cheaper and sell 50 at once? What we do in our lives, echoes in eternity.
  3. sorry, the attachment was too big. It's ok now. Dejan was one-of-a-kind guy, one can never forget him. Used Cypres? Probably not a good idea if 12 years of function affects it's operations. Yet, I believe that manufacturor gives the bottom line period for use, like in everything else we use in skydiving. Your cannopy strings are tested for weight that exceedes normal human weight up to 10 times (or more?). I would use it normaly but I agree that the factory should give it's opinion anyway. I agree to move this discussion to some other forum, maybe the moderator has some idea. PS Thanx for compliment, Belgrade is great, we had 12 years of rough time, wars etc., but it is a great place to be. What we do in our lives, echoes in eternity.
  4. Guys, I read this and simply can't believe it! So it is true, skydivers are brothers and sisters, no mather the country they live in, the standard they have, or experience or type of rig! Since 1997. I was present and have seen with my eyes two guys dying and heard all about the third guy (19 years old, died on a first jump!). All of them would still be around only should they have better equipment. If there is really some equipment that can be donated, I sugest that we in Belgrade organise an international boogie during the summer, dedicated to my friend Dejan Nenadovic, everyone who wants to donate something could come here and bring stuff. In return you could get nice free jumps and many new friends. The most beautiful part of this is that you know you helped saving some lives. Who knows, maybe from Dejan's terrible accident, something good can come along. PS This is Dejan's photo in the attachment. What we do in our lives, echoes in eternity.
  5. Here are some more information. Best regards, Ivan. What we do in our lives, echoes in eternity.
  6. Our skydiving club Sky diamond (see www.nebeskidijamant.co.yu) is organising for the fifth time the accuracy skydiving competition in Belgrade from 27-30th june 2003. The jumps are done at the very centre of Belgrade on the shore of Sava river. We are jumping from Serbian army's MI 8 helicopter. Last year there were 14 teams. Every team jumps 8 times plus 2 for semifinals and finals. There are no visas required, the prices are ok and the fun has no limits in Serbia! Welcome! What we do in our lives, echoes in eternity.

By changing the law on aviation in 2006 and the lack of regulations for dealing with parachuting, skydiving sports enters into stagnation and decay, which runs until September 2014, when the established legal norms for dealing with parachuting. In the season 2015 club athletes were reformed and continue with the tradition that was interrupted in 2012. TANDEM parachute jump - jump from INSTRUKTOROMUkoliko you can not overcome your fear, in the sense that you rely on yourself and your knowledge that you have acquired during training or simply just want to see what it feels like to go ?? Jump parachute, then the tandem jump is perfect for you. The traveler, or you do not have to take any care about the jump, nor should you have any knowledge about parachuting. Basic operating instructions before you get the jump. All in all, during a tandem jump, you are surely bound, attached to an experienced skydiver, tandem pilot, who controls the whole jump, and up to you to listen to his instructions, and to enjoy.
