  1. Hmmmm.......is it safer to let a lot of people jump out of a plane, spread out over a distance, over neighborhoods. Falling at speeds from 110 - 200 + mph, and deploying a parachute when they see fit, above 2000', or so..........or is it safer to let a few people jump from a plane, who will quickly deploy their parachutes,at a somewhat high altitude, and who are more highly skilled, and conservative canopy pilots, than most canopy pilots.........hmmmm.......[:/]

No, they just think that at 55 you cant teach a old dog new tricks. The figure you can still do the old tricks you already know.

Remember that I am 54 years old, tore my right shoulder three years ago and only count full-stroke chin-ups.

I think most of the kids born after 1970 have got thru life only being required to do half strokes of anything in life...........and it still took three of them to get to ten full stroke pull-ups....Yes I am from an older era......born in 1962.......B|

  4. There is another obvious time for you to buy beer of course.........you know it when it's time.......it's when you always reach for the beer, and you realize you haven't bought for the group in awhile.....I've felt that way before myself....that's why I know....[:/]....that's when it's past time for you to buy your buddies some beer....

[ Again I file every form I'm required by law to file and pay every tax I'm required by law to pay.

    I pay no income tax.
    I file no 1040.

Do you have a problem with that?

***"So, by signing the line have I perjured myself?"

If you don't file, why were you worried about perjuring yourself?

That line on the 1040 doesn't worry me.

    One thing is certain.
    I would never perjure myself.

    What are you getting at?
If you have something to say why don't you quit acting like a coy bitch and just act like a man and state what's on your mind?Relax Jim ( Dan ) Just ....breathe.....everything's going to be alright..........Where's all the love you used to have for everyone ? I haven't heard you tell anyone lately....[:/]

Would you feel more comfortable jumping ( learning ) from a large plane, with a big doorway to jump from ?...( I would )....Or would you be more comfortable jumping out of a four person plane that you need to crawl out of ? Once you learn, all planes are fun, and all drop zones ( the place you jump at ) are fun.....B|

  8. Years ago, my girlfriend worked in the main office of a mall. They kept a Police scanner on, in the office, all the time. Some kid on the property had stuck a pistol in his waist band and shot his dick off.......she said you could hear him in the background begging the cops to "pick it up....please.....",,,,I bet they drew straws on that one......[:/]

  9. If you can't sign a contract ( a waiver ), no one is going to let you jump. Maybe a tandem, with a parent's signiture, at 17.5 yrs old....maybe. I jump at a non-uspa DZ, and they wouldn't touch you.......maybe try Mexico.

  10. I have my old comp PC in a sleeva and a rig to put it in. I also have a RW PC that still needs a couple of patches. But I have to loose some weight before I jump them.

    Quote

That is a good point....What is an acceptable weight on a PC, and how much does this guy weigh ?

do you really believe this crap you spout off? or are you messing around? as an it professional myself, i would think that an engineer would have to have at least some brains, but i guess this just isn't the case. and i also thought that a college professor would be able to read, but that was before working at the it service desk for a university. from reading most of your posts, i see that the avatar fits what i read. you seem angry, maybe it's just me. but as an aside, i did read that angry people are actually less at risk of heart attacks than other people. and i do get to sit around and read on the internet all day while i'm working, in between putting people on hold and laughing at them with my colleagues, that is. i'm not gonna complain, if everyone knew how to use computers well, i wouldn't have a job.
