  1. Are you suggesting flying up the line of flight? That might not be such a good thing considering people may be exiting the aircraft after you, especially when the winds aloft are high.
  2. If I'm not mistaken the black ones are not being used anymore. The last few we received are shipped with the Kevlar bridal and 'y' mods on the student harness. That oughta spark a whole new conversation, aye!
  3. The concept of arching hard is misleading. Arching is not something that requires strengh or energy, but rather relaxation. Once you learn that you're not going to win a fight with the wind you will learn how to work with it.
  4. Embry Riddle University in Prescott has a skydiving club that is growing pretty fast. They make trips to Eloy from time to time to jump and play in the tunnel. Shoot me some contact info and I'll have someone get in touch w/ you.
  5. A camera is a distraction from the the very beginning to the very end of any skydive. Items may missed during a gear check because of a battery check on your camera. A lift web might be twisted but the jumper is paying more attention to the camera mount while gearing up. A handle is floating but the jumper is double checking that his go-pro is turned on on his way to the door. Get the idea??? It gets worse the further along in the skydive you go. A camera flyer must have sufficient experience to not only fly by second nature, but skydive by second nature. That comes with lots of experience!! 200 jumps is a minimum recommendation. That's a reasonable number of jumps to warrant an evaluation of one's ability to safely carry a camera on a skydive in my opinion.
