Is anyone jumping New Years Day near San Fran? I will be in SF for work the whole week and don't have any solid plans, figured it would be worth a shot if any DZs are open that day. AND if anyone is jumping, any chance I can get a ride? :) I am staying at the JW Marriott right in the middle of SF. Won't have a rental car... Thanks!

Thanks! My traveling will vary but it is starting next week. I looked into Eloy as an option so that might work. Also planning to hit the tunnel in SF Bay which is 30 miles from where I will be staying. I will look into Skydance as well

I'm getting to travel to San Fran for work in the upcoming months, and was wondering where there is to jump out there? Only place I know of so far are Lodi and Byron, but I would be happy to travel outside of the area if it is a short flight or if I could hitch a ride. Any jumpers from San Fran on here? Did 2 jumps at BRSA today; one from 9.5k and the other 3.5k due to clouds. The view of the valley is gorgeous during the climb, free fall, and under canopy. This was my first time in a Cessna, which was smaller than I am used to but it got the job done! I believe there will be a King Air there starting mid May. Staff was professional; gave me a full orientation of hanger/manifest/landing areas. Good group of people, stop by and make some jumps

Ya this would be in summer. I guess I could look into the florida route or the halfway route. 2 1/2 weeks would be tough to hit all the dzs along the way to cali so I might have to reconsider the direction

Skydive Chicago is a possibility but if i dont make it on the road trip I might fly out for the boogie

Orange is my home DZ, Raeford looks good as the next stop. So far my map curves down into Texas. Possibly into CO and then Utah, AZ, and CA but nothing is in stone yet. Thank you!

Hello! I am considering doing a 2 1/2 week (give or take) long road trip from the east coast (va) to Elsinore and back. The route does not need to be direct or follow the same way back. So I could curve south one way and north the other. I'm looking for dzs to stop at everyday (if possible with the distance) along the way. If anyone has any recommendations I'd really appreciate it! I do not have a set date for this trip yet, depends on my work start date which I get in may. I'll rank and plot all the replies on a map to determine the best way to go. Thanks!
