Newb here.If you buy a voucher (vs walk in or book online) the Tampa prices are 5min/$85,10m/160,15/229,30/447,60/687.Not sure of why the difference or if there are any conditions other than must be used within a 30min block. Let's all who are interested email or call about overnight camps so they will get the ball rolling sooner rather than later. Google maps show 36min from Zhills Skydive City to the new tunnel. Expect lots of non tourist activity.

This part "Question arose regarding A license holders that obtained them some time ago, they need to be made aware of the change to the USPA policy that change on Jan. 1" Surely current (or lapsed) A LICENSE holders (as opposed to in-training CARD holders) are grandfathered in regarding further requirements.

Noob here who just bought my first used rig. How many tasks like changing mains, replacing dbag-pc ,swapping out cutaway handles,changing risers etc that appear to be straight forward do you do? I'm not going to do it myself for awhile if ever. Riggers seem busy at my local dz and I hate to always leave my rig til next week. If you don't do any work yourself how do you ask your rigger with help with these smaller tasks? Save them up til next repack? There are clearly written downloadable factory manuals that show how to do many of these tasks.

Of course. I edited my question to say it was end of life and he edited his answer to say "retired" I believe. Still at work so haven't started drinking yet!

Yep, I check it obsessively like a crack addict. Also half dozen other low activity sites. I can afford all new but don't want to be "that guy" who shows up with shiny new stuff and no skillz. A dream deferred is a dream lost meaning I don't want to jump alot til I have my own baby. Patience. About once a month a big rig is a candidate but nothing yet. I crossed my DZ website tagged pics to the fb page member seach and googled stalked..so an invite is on the way I believe. (edited)..thanks for all the personal mss..FYI: I'm 6'0",190lbs,215lbs(exit) seeking 210-220M and reserve, with rsl, aad ready or included, newer than 15 yo, hopefully able to downsize to 190 much later.(Hey I'm not picky...I'll give it a few more weeks and then probably buy a new custom container. Can you believe the lead/delivery times? )

Long time lurker here who just got my A license current after 20 years. Now I'm looking for my first rig, preferably used. I check DZ.com classifieds daily but my size doesn't come up very often. The facebook group "skydiving gear for sale and wanted" is supposed to be very active but it is by invite/add only. Can a brother get an invite?...Besides saying I'm not a spammer or a scammer what else can I do? I just updated my fb and dz.com profiles to be more open for this ask because usually I'm concerned about privacy. Thanks!

Wow, what a busy and helpful forum. I've emailed afew area DZs for details as well. I had less than 30 jumps at a very small defunct DZ and never felt confident in most aspects. I guess I wanted to avoid a complete retraining course with the time and expense, but of course safety must be first. Thanks again.
