Well drove a couple hours from Charlotte to Raeford to make 2 AFF jumps today and getting a little cloudy but not 2 bad yet. Pull up start watching some military guys jumping/landing and getting pumped only to feel and see some huge clouds with wind coming in. So whats the call for student jumpers?? NO GO. So no biggie went and did some tunnel time and think its helping me alot. Well just sharing my day as I continue to learn as much as I can about this sport! Peace

Just wanted to say that Im in the process of completing my AFF doing levels 5-6 this friday. I did my first 3 at ASC. I did my jumps with Jim Vance and Stewart and of course everyone knows Woody. We moved to Charlotte NC and I can for sure say I miss that DZ. Everyone made me feel at home and gave alot of info there. After I get my A lisence I'm going back to say what's up. Oh I now call Raeford Parachute my home and we have the wind tunnel 5min ride from DZ. Anytime your coming up after I get more jumps would love to hang with atlanta friend! Peace

Any suggestions on a good freefly helmet? I'm buying one for the dude that got me started skydiving for his b-day..I want to say he has a older model huricane? Any advice would be helpful. Peace

Hey glad u liked it your first jump!! I am new to this sport to but I did my 1st AFF level and moved with new job for work and b4 I knew a year had past. Well I had to jump again so headed back to ASC and dude worked it out so that day I did AFF levels 2 & 3. So goodluck and let me know how your adventure goes!!

Thanks for reply i will take it slow just seems like every1 has so many jumps but guess im trying. Do u reccomend buying used gear or not? As I keep jumping I hope to have met enough people to keep helping me learnto jump with me. How did it work 4u when u 1st started out. Well holler when u can

I am in the process of doing the AFF course then on to A licence. ? is i keep watching all the videos on freeflying and wingsuits and its all just sick. How long b4 you can actually do some of that? Also any advice to help make me a better skydiver.. Everyday I cant wait til my next jump. Must say there is no other sport that has you this hooked. Thanks to whoever wants to help me out!
