  1. They rent vector riggs with skyhook and fly 3 aircraft depending on the load size, 2 of which I've been on. The otter is deffinitely the best jump plane in their fleet, but that's not to knock the caravan. They are both spacious and provide a quick flight to 14,000'. Excellent pilots, instructors, packers and staff overall. The atmosphere is always fun and they have the best food you can ask for at a drop zone. They offer bunks for overnight stays free of charge. Overall you couldn't ask for anything more at a drop zone. I'm just a coupld jumps away from my class a license and couldn't have asked for a more accomidating place, with knowlegable instructors than skydive dallas. I have nothing but pros for the review except the drive, I drive about 2 hours to get there. That being said, I drive past plenty of other places I could go to get certified. I chose skydive dallas because I KNOW I'M GETTING THE BEST TRAINING probably state wide. Thanks skydive dallas, Ben Melton P.S. If you're jumping tandem, know that Ernie will probably be on your back with almost 14,000 logged jumps. Ernie is the main instructor and although a little anal sometimes, you know he only wants safety & proper training for your benefit.
