  1. How things have changed. I started in 1959. 2 static jump then free falls. Last jump in 1968 Taft, Calif. Jack Cupp D84Quote
  2. Hi Richard, Good to hear from you. I'm sure we did jump together, I was all over Calif also. I lost my log book also, third divorce hassle. Been married 23 years now though, going great. Apx 65 or 66 I slowed down a lot on jumping. I went back to flying, bought a T6, used to fly to the drop zones, made a few jumps. Then I built a Midget Mustang flew it to the drop zones, then a Howard, just a family plane. I'm still flying, in between planes now, may build one. I spoke to John De Santis the other day. He's still going at it. Regards, Jack D84 602-516-0362 [email protected]
  3. Hi Keith, Not sure. He sounds a little familiar?? Most of my activity was between 59 and 64. A few jumps after that up to 68. Jack
  4. John, Do you where Doyle Fields, Don Molitar, Marvin Steel, Bob Higbee (did you know him?), Carlyn Olsen may be or anything about them. So many names I can't remember. Remember Bill Coan? He has welding shop here in Phoenix. Jim Lizzio lives just outside Palm Springs. He has a Piper Aerostar, flies all over the place. How about Hank Simbro? I heard that Muriel is gone, hope that's not true. Were you part of the Valley Skydivers, San Fernando Valley. Monte Mcrae had the Skydiver Bar in Panaorama city. I used to show my 8MM hand held camera free fall movies there, apx 1961/61. Guess I quit too early. Jack
  5. Hi, I'm Jack Cupp D84 I see my name highlighted as having jumped with you in the 60s on the 400 D list. I just found this site, very interesting. I can't place who you are. Can you give me a clue? thx Jack
  6. I would have to think about that. I had knee replacements a few years ago. It's a thought.
  7. Hi John, Great to hear from you. Jim Lizzio was here in Phoenix a few months ago. I asked about you, he said he kind of lost track of you. Still jumping... wow! I have two total knee replacements, might no be able to now. My last jump in 68 may have been with you in Taft. I flew my Midget Mustang up there. Let's keep in touch. Where do you live now? 8. Hi, I just happen to find this site last night. Brings back some real memories. I'm jack Cupp D84, I think my last jump was in apx 1968 at Taft California. I pretty much retired from jumping in 1964 when I went back to flying. I was in the Rumbleseat Skydivers. Use to jump with Bob Higbee, Jim Lizzio, Lyle Cameron, Don Molitor and the Rumbleseat Club all over california. Startied in 1959 at 6S airport in Saugus, Cal then we moved to a place called Piru, near Santa Paula, Then Taft. I did a lot of early free fall filming, 8 MM then surplus gun cameras. I made a film for Wide world of sports in Las Vegas, don't know if it was ever published, several others. [email]Muriel and Hank Simbro were close friends. Anyone feel free to contact me. I live in Phoenix now. Build and fly experimental airplanes. Feel free to contact me.
