  1. Yeah i have it written on my CV. I had an interview once with the MD and another Director and they went through my CV. Skydiving was not mentioned once in any interviews but they must have seen it on my CV. 1 day later i get a call from the MD saying that i got the job :) Started work and after a week found out the MD was a skydiver. Not saying thats what got me the job but i think it certanly helped out. Cheers Don
  2. I'm new to this sport and have not been to many dropzones yet but the welcome I got from Hinton was great. When I first returned from doing my AFF course abroad I went to Netheravon and was shocked by how awkward they where towards a new comer, Hinton however made me feel right at home and run through all my drills then let me get straight up in the air. Great place to be and felt like i was not treated as a newbie.
  3. Hi there Im off to the Freefall Uni on Saturday for my AFF course and wanted to know if there pool that is at the DZ is in use, Hope some one on here can shed some light on the subject, plus any other tips before i go would be appriciated. Thanks Don
  4. Hi there I am just about to book my AFF course and 10 consol jumps with a company called the freefall uni in Oceana near Madrid and have a few things i need advice on. I have never done a skydive before, not even a tandem, will this cause a problem or is it common to start out with the AFF course? Has anyone here been to or done the AFF course with freefall uni? Is it common to fail AFF levels? If i do my course in spain with BPA instructors can i jump as soon as i come home? How much is it to jump once qualified at a uk DZ? Hope you guys can help, Sorry for so many questions Thanks DonDonboy_s14 Posts: 2 Joined: 22 Apr 2009, 20:46 Private message
