  1. What we do is, at about 100 feet,go into about 3/4 brakes.As the canopy attains lift,smoothly let the canopy go back into full flight. The acceleration is transfered into lift at the bottom end of the 'dynamic landing' as the guys at RWorkshop like to call it. This landing technique will give great stand-up landings consistently. As a matter of fact, as a tandemI/E, I teach how to do it in the tandem course. Go to any large dz(like Deland) and you will see this used daily with great results. Peace
