Anyone Know of Skydiving in South Korea?
harleydilligaf replied to Matti3's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Matti- We talked through work email. I was stationed in Daegu last year before coming to USAFA. Check out https://www.facebook.com/groups/269999436410288/ and get with Youngchol Choi or Joungan Yi. They jump in Yecheon and down south. I had a car so it was easier to travel to their "mobile" DZ. The language barrier is there, and used my civilian co-workers to help translate. They are a great jump club and treated me very well. Where are you PCSing to? Dan -

I actually did set up time for sunday at the tunnel for ten minutes. I need to work on leg control and other than that they said I will be cleared for the next level. I know that it is mostly mental and I feel like I have a nice stable arch, but just need to tweak it more. I also will probably get video next jump, that way I can look at what I am doing too. Thanks for the advice and I will def. see you at the dz! Dan -

Hey All! Well I am new here, and looking for new useful information to make me a better skydiver. I have been working on my AFF course for 6 months now; unfortunately I had a knee surgery and few other things that have been slowing me down through the process. I have eight jumps now, and stuck at level three as of today. I am determined to get through the training and glad my coaches are staying by my side to help. I just want to say thanks to all the others for posting their stories and I can read for motivation.
