  1. I have worked as a freelance instructor at NLPC. The instructors are among the most experienced and current in the country, because it is a busy well organised centre. They do not overbook, because all the people booked in will jump given reasonable weather. The centre has a reputation for safety, so if the weather conditions are not suitable, parachutists have to wait until they are suitable. There is a weather update at midday, if there is a delay, so parachutists are kept informed. There are days which are less busy, usually, tuesday, thursday and friday. If you want to jump early, make the effort to get there early, to book in early, as a first come, first jump, seems the fairest system to all. The centre probably also has the least expensive skydives for first time jumpers in the UK. Skydivers are used to waiting for the weather to clear up, first time skydivers are not. There is a canteen, with internet access and a pool table, plus a wind tunnel and hovercraft, to pass the time.
