***Yeah they're sizing chart doesn't seem to suggest that a Safire 2 129 would fit. Hence why i'm asking in case anyone else has that set up. I certainly don't want a pregnant rig / to be squeezing anything in. However then my only other option is the V308 which is then a loose fitting for the OP126 and a standard fit for the Safire 2 129. When ideally i'd want a standard fitting reserve and a full fitting main in order to accommodate a couple of downsizes when ready.

Why not get the 308 and put an Optimum 143 reserve in? I really don't see the point in tiny reserves!

How will you ever be Bobby Bitchen with that attitude?

  2. Some of my most memorable jumps, the city lights and super smooth air were incredible, the guy who passed close to me going the wrong way under canopy less so. (we did turn some points though)

Bad spot bills truck were the only lights.

  3. The good old DC 3, we would wait until a new pilot would get it trimmed out, then start moving slowly back and forth so he would have to correct it, then we would run back and forth while he frantically moved the trim wheel until he realized what we were doing and started doing G moves to get us back, great fun!

At least one of the planes used for the first Perris 100 way was a DC 3, it had no rear door and they were jumping from 20,000 feet with no door on a cool day.

Optimum reserves weigh about he same as older reserves made by Performance Designs. The only significant difference is the Optimum's smaller pack volume.

For example, I once packed an Optimum 28? into a Softie designed for a 210 reserve. The Optimum just "fell" into that container.

To the critics, I have packed hundreds of Softies and thousands of sport reserves .....

The website shows the largest one they make is a 253.
