Wow... Could one huge airport be more boring? I'm stuck there right now.

When i was in the army, i was shipping out to Korea. I was space available. I spent THREE DAYS in LAX in my dress greens. (class A uniform, and painful shoes)

"The white zone is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. no parking. unattended vehicles are subject to immediate tow-away".. still ringing in my ears, 16 YEARS later... :P

    Homosexuality is morally wrong,

actually it says "men shouldnt lay with other men." so as long as i catch in the shower and don't lay down, i go to heaven! yay for loopholes!

Also, the bible says that we should execute women who have sex before marriage, and murder children that don't obey their parents. It's a book, written by cavemen, and it's "truths" aren't applied universally, just the rules that serve the needs of the people pushing the philosophy.

Personally, i value the bible less than a roll of charmin, because I actually have a use for toilet paper. ;)

  3. What is the best way to go about selling my gear on here? I know western union is bad, and checks are bad, but can anybody suggest the best payment method that will minimize the likelihood of getting ripped off?

    I have:
    a black helmet - used 4 times for 75
alti-2 glow in the dark - used 4 times for 75ish
protrack - only used 4 times for 250

    Thanks! -paul

  4. Yes, its scary and dangerous.. I had a girl that destroyed my house, broke a bunch of my stuff, called me hundreds of times, told me after we had sex that she had aids, flipped my motorcycle over and did $1500 damage to it. Tried to have me ejected from college.

Then she tried to have me prosecuted for rape. I was almost arrested by the police.

    Its not fun. Its scary.

  5. Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System

    a box will pop up

    click on hardware

the device manager will come up.. It will have a list of devices set up on your system.. Find the DVD Drive..

Right click it, and click 'delete'

After its gone, at the very top right click on "my computer" and click "Scan for hardware changes".. It should detect and reinstall the drivers for the player.

This could also be a hardware problem.

I am assuming you have XP. If you need vista instructions, hit me up at virtualcontext [at] yahoo.com

  8. Yawn...

    Real GDP:

    3rd quarter 2009: 3.5 percent
    2nd quarter 2009: -0.7 percent

Looks like we are out of the recession
(By technical terms... If you never took a macro/micro economics class then please don't clutter the thread with your ignorance, poor grammar and bad spelling...)
    http://www.bea.gov/newsreleases/glance.htm

    and

The United States Department of Labor (which is run by Obama) doesn't look like it is lying:
    http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm

It shows that we are still shedding jobs and unemployment is at 9.8 percent, most of which were from Manufacturing, Construction, Utilities, and Professional Services.

The problem is that most average joes rely on biased sources for their news instead of going and looking at the numbers for themselves, and when rush tells them Obama is lying (correct spelling) they go out and post garbage...

    Mmmkay? :P

  9. That report is pure bullshit.

    Quote

...but only 125,000 of those were vehicles that would not have been sold anyway...

And how do they know how many cars would have been sold without the program in effect? They can't compare year over year cause we were deep in recession last year and domestic auto sales were down like 60%.

    Quote

The average rebate was $4,000. But the overwhelming majority of sales would have taken place anyway at some time in the last half of 2009, according to Edmunds.com.

Again, how do they know this?

    Quote

    The average rebate was $4,000.

So if the average rebate was 4 grand, where did they get their numbers from? This report is biased, probably because the people running Edmunds have a hard on for Obama like some of the asshats that post on DZ.com. :P

According to the CDC website, 99.8% of all tested cases of flu this year were Influenza A,

    Quote

There are alot of different types of influenza A viruses, birdshit.
Out of that 99.8% tested how many were H1N1?

    Blues,
    Cliff

Did you read the stats? Every single one that was subtyped. There were 11 out of 4500ish that werent h1n1.

Biologists in Canada and the north-east US have used DNA to determine that coyotes have been breeding with wolves to produce what they are calling "coywolves". Lager than a coyote, smaller than the wolf, they seem to not have the same natural fear of humans that either parent species has. This could someday be a big problem.

AWESOME!!!! Hybrid, mutant, aggressive man-eating coyote/wolf mixes! Where do I get one? I shall call it "fluffy"

And for show is my 04 F150,rollin on dubs,

    .

    I'm old WTF is "dubs":S

Dubs are 20 inch rims. The word DUB come from the slang word for 20.

"Commonly used to refer both to two dime bags of weed (which, incidentally, equal 20 dollars) and to 20'' rims on cars, particularly SUV's. The word "dub" is used to refer to something that equals 20, whether it be weed OR rim size.
Yo, can I get two dubs from you?

    OR

    We were rollin on dubs..."

  13. According to the CDC website, 99.8% of all tested cases of flu this year were Influenza A, of which only 11 cases out of 4,855 where influenza B. If you bothered to research before you posted you wouldn't sound so stoopid.

    ;)

Why is it always Obama's fault with you? Is it his fault that swine flu occurred? Do you think it was his idea to come up with the scheme to estimate how many cases went undiagnosed? Come on. you can do better./

  14. Only about 1/3 what were spending in Iraq, which is totally, completely unnecessary.

The Taliban was harboring bin laden when we went in. they have now emerged as a terrorist organization so they need to be dealt with. Set up a puppet government that we can control, give the people the impression that they really matter, bribe the presidents brother with CIA seed money, you get the idea, etc, etc, and so on and so forth.

Iraq is one big cluster fuck that we will never win and we need to bail out of that mess and let em kill each other by themselves before it turns into another Vietnam.

I can accept the idea of losing American soldiers as long as there is a valid reason, but some trumped up bullshit lies GWB and Dickface Cheney told us is not a good reason to sacrifice 4,500 soldiers and maiming another 20,000.

I don't agree with the DEA attacking the opium/heroin production in Afghanistan. If they don't make it, some other hell hole in the world will. The only way we will ever fix that problem is to fix it on the demand side (cure the addicts).

So in short, I do know there is a good mission. I know we can accomplish it if we put enough resources to it. And I think that the political climate doesn't prevent that.

    my $0.02

  15. Twin Turbocharged 2010 BMW M6... $125,000. Paid cash for it.

OK, not really. Used to drive a 2000 Dodge Neon. Flipped it a couple times. Used to drive a 2006 Scion tC. Flipped it a few times. Used to drive a 2007 Kia Sorento. Front end totalled it. Used to drive a 2005 Honda Accord. Loved it. Crashed it. Now I drive a piece of shit ford ranger. Still looking for a good tree to wrap it around.

  16. I fall at 124mph or 181.86 feet per second. If you have a high speed mal at 2000 feet you have 11 seconds to hit the ground. At 3000 feet you have 16 seconds. By the time you got the mirror in position to see what was wrong you have burned a thousand feet.

I was taught that I was supposed to do a five count and check my canopy. If I don't like what I see (not square, not stable, not steerable) go to EPs.

Take my advice with a grain of salt. I am a two hump chump!
