  1. That is right, I misunderstood it, it was a bit ambiguously worded, but after checking a bit more I found that I will need at least 25 jumps total for the A license. BTW the DZ is the ranch, Thanks to those that replied, I hope to be there next weekend, or the weekend after. I Like Pie
  2. I am planning on getting my A license and I have been looking around for a good local DZ. I found a place that does IAF (Instructor Assisted Freefall) instead of AFF, the primary difference seems to be that the student will do 3 tandem (ugh) jumps (IAF L1-3) go on to IAF Level 4 with only one instructor. Personally I do not have any concern with this as I have jumped a few times 12 years ago (AFF But I did not complete it due to non-skydiving related issues) and I know how I react to freefall. This seems to be a little cheaper and is why I think ill go this route. Anyone have any concerns or comments about this method? Safe as AFF? DZ says IAF is done by USPA member DZs Also web site states that A license can be obtained in as few as 13 jumps. Ben I Like Pie

I have many 'native american' friends, some have been very close friends, most (not all) prefer to be called "Indians" btw, the term 'eskimo' is consdered by my Inuit/Indian friends to be derogatory.
