  1. Had a thorough look once again. The dbag has no sharp edges, the tapes and edges looks good. And there are no traces of gravel inside the canopy. most likely this makes sence: "Those tiny pinholes in the center tail are caused by the grommets on the bag and slider slapping together. Unfortunately any fabric that gets in the way gets damaged"
  2. Always landed on grass and packed on carpet. No contact with wire fences or other sharp objects. The canopy is almost new 200 jumps on it, and i notice more and more little holes/cuts on upper centre cell fabric close to bridle attachment point after each deployment. It just started to appear after i got brand new V303 D-bag installed. I've done close inspection of my dbag grommets and didn't notice any sharp edges, but i am almost sure that it is something with a d-bag... Ive tried various s-folding techniques, removed metal bridle attachment ring, changed rubber bands small ones vs larger ones from time to time, but nothing has helped to prevent new small cuts/dents appearing each time after opening... it's small canopy ( xfire2 89) if it might be a reason... wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar
  3. any hints where these little holes/dents came from??? anyone could give me some decent advice how to avoid them? Thanks
  4. has anybody seen parabatix DVD? those guys are awesome
  5. i am more interested about the lift at this WL has it got enough lift at the end of the swoop to land you on the ground without falling on your knees after touching the grass during NO wind landing?
  6. i would like to know how does xfire2 performs at WL 2.1? whats about no wind landings at this wingloading?
  7. how does WL influences the opening sequence?
  8. i wonder wot efforts has the icarus made to slow down the openings? (slider size, line set, etc) do they provide a different size sliders nowadays? can u tell me more about x-mod? is it true that almost every VX require x-mod?
  9. what do u mean by saying [WOW]? is laughing the only thing, u can answer?
  10. how many jumps do i have? the answer is very simple: i do not count them my previous wingloading was 1.3 and this would be 1.7. as for me, i think there is nothing to worry about, despite this huge step from spectre to crossfire, because i have a few jumps on x-fire119 loaded at 1.6, and i managed to land it succesfuly under 0 wind conditions i understand that i am too young to die, but once involved in this...and i am not able to stop
  11. hi, everybody i am 19 years old boy from the country of lithuania (located in europe) i am writing in order to know more about crossfire2 swooping capibilities, i have recently ordered crossfire2 canopy from my local diler. i`ve been piloting spectre150 for some time(300 jumps on this canopy) so i downsized a bit too much, but its OK so tell me everything what may keep me alive p.s. sorry for my bad english
