  1. You must remember those old wonderful skydiving movies by "Wally Gubbins", right? The music in the films were by an obscure band called Fester and the Vomits. We have been trying to find their music but it seems impossible! It should be real skydiving cult stuff, but we can´t find it anywhere. Anyone out there who knows how to get hold if it? Lena
  2. Thank you for that info! Yes, now that you mentioned it, I do recall the guy was British - which was extra funny since my boyfriend is also British and it was a bit of a blast to walk into a little dropzone in the middle of Kansas - to find another Englishman as the DZ owner! I seem to remember his wife flew the plane and he jumped with us!
  3. On a drive across the US many many years ago, we came across a tiny little drop zone somewhere in Kansas, it was called Pegasus I think. We arrived and knocked on their mobile home door and the husband and wife dz owners looked really surprised and happy that someone showed up! We did a jump, three of us, from a plane I can´t remember the name of but it was made of fabric! Anyone else remember that DZ? Think it was just a grass strip in the middle of nowhere! Sweet memories of days long gone....... Lena
  4. I painted some signs for the new building (after the fire), wonder whatever happened to them? Had funny little skydiver characters on them, and some writing I think. Never took any picture of them, oddly enough, and can´t quite remember. But they were quite big and sat on the wall of the manifest building. Lena (Sweden)!
  5. Yeah, I think I made that Dragon drawing! I made them a Phoenix Rising drawing too! Oh yes, they went to Perris, I remember! But then what? If anyone knows I would love to know! Lena BASE 251
  6. Anyone knows where they are these days? They too were at Zhills in the late 80:s, came from Alaska but put up their jump suit business near/in Atlanta, Georgia. They were a bit controversial I remember but I really liked them, they had a jump suit business, EFS (Eat F**k Skydive) and made some really neat suits. Any info, anybody?
  7. Does that mean he is dead?!? Anyone knows the story? We were locals at Zhills in the late 80:s and he was always around. Always wondered what happened to him, haven't seen his photos around for ages either.
  8. The photographer at Z-hills many years ago, whatever happened to him? Anybody knows? It is hard to look his name up on Google etc since all you get is loads of music stuff...
