Dude......If no one has told you yet let me..it is better to be on the ground wishingyou was in the air then in the air wishing you was on the ground. If the wind was enough to drag your ass acoss the landing area mabe you should have stayed on the ground. What if you had cut away and your canopy kept on going towards the plane.. or worse you have an RSL and your reserve fires and keeps on draggin you towards the sharp spinning thing...
