  1. yeah guys, I got a couple of jumps yesterday, doin alittle two way exit and docking, tracking, and such. I didn't even really think about pulling unstable, I just waved off and pulled. Not even a deal anymore, didn't turn any at all, I guess I was just thinkin about it too much last time, now I was just having fun and relaxing. I know one thing that did help the most, other than relaxing, was just layin down on pillows and just practicing and getting used to pulling and such. Makes it feel a lot more natural once your in the air. Well, thanks to all who gave their 2 cents, it cured my problem. Blue Skies, guys I think I'll make it back to the dz, damn that was a bad spot
  2. yeah i was a s/l student..haha..I've been really practicing a lot on the ground and I think one problem i'm having for sure is that i'm not lookin at the horizon and by that i'm loosing my arch and stability. Another thing that I have really worked on is my leg awareness, which i knew was not so well, but now i feel a lot more confortable with my awareness. Thanks for all the advise guys, i'll see what i can do with it. Blue Skies, Spence I think I'll make it back to the dz, damn that was a bad spot
  3. My practice pulls are pretty sucky too, I still have alittle spin, I've gotten a few of them straight, but the majority of them leave me in a slight turn, which leads to a worse spin. I've done my practice pulls and just held them to see how to fix them, but usually get too unstable and have to go back neutral. Yeah having a couched jump would probably be the best thing, I'm thinkin it's either my legs or my head placement. (not lookin at the horizon, possibly) I was told the other day after a two way with one of my friends that my legs didn't look that good, just kinda flopping around, so I really need to work on leg awareness. well, thanks for a replies I think I'll make it back to the dz, damn that was a bad spot
  4. Man, I know I should know better by now with 14 jumps, but for some reason when I go to pull, I start a heavy spin, usually to the right. My wave off is fine and I don't always spin, but sometimes I spin so bad I have to go stop the turn then try to pull again. I'm still pulling at 4000', so I give myself time for stuff like that, but still I feel retarded that I can't pull straight every time. I was just wondering what could be causing this, I'm not leaning either direction, I'm just turning. Should I use my legs to stop the spin rather than my arms, or are my legs perhaps what causes the spin? I don't know, your ideas please, thanks I think I'll make it back to the dz, damn that was a bad spot
  5. I have read about this website and heard that the guy is a really good guy to buy from and also that you can get really good deals, but I can not find the website. Just wondering what the link is if it is still online. thanks........................................................................ I think I'll make it back to the dz, damn that was a bad spot
  6. yep 3500 ft is just right for static line..only 3 more s/l jumps and we'll hit up on that freefall tanvan..haha..we'll have it down by then...i hope I think I'll make it back to the dz, damn that was a bad spot
