Strong love can leave such a gaping wound, but I'm so glad you two have had each other. Having to do this sort of thing rips and tears at your heart. I'm so thankful that the love and the good memories make it worth tolerating the process of letting go! I'll be thinking of you.TPM Sister #102 -
#10--One of the hardest things I've ever done but I owed it to her. If I couldn't prevent the ending, the least I could do was to be there for it.TPM Sister #102 -
I loved a dog, too. Still miss you, Elsie!TPM Sister #102 -
Happy birthday! I hope it's wonderful!TPM Sister #102 -

As of this morning, my husband has added the names "Savannah" and "Enchilada" to his list of potentials. This should be interesting! You may be right. We may have to wait to get her home before we know what her name is. This name-selection thing is hard!TPM Sister #102 -
That's even better if you do it while wearing braces.TPM Sister #102 -
I read one article that says they have not told the miners how long they think it'll be before they can get them out. I think if *I* was down there, that would be about the first thing I'd want to know. I get the point about not wanting to discourage them, but I kinda think they're going to notice entire weeks going by.TPM Sister #102 -
The DOG might not be confused, but *I* surely would! That would be awesome to see!!

LOL! That's cute. I suspect her personality would work well with that, too.TPM Sister #102 -
Cooper is TOO CUTE! I love all that wavy hair. Fur. Hair/fur. Whatever it is, it's adorable!TPM Sister #102 -
QuoteQuoteWe were driving home and Delilah came on the radio and I turned to my husband and said "What about Delilah?!" It worked.

Apparently, great minds think alike. He got the idea from the song, too.TPM Sister #102 -
QuoteHad a friend who loved offshore fishing. He got a small dog that was a yippppper yapper. We suggested a name of Chum.
He didn't find it funny.
Awwwwww! Poor puppy! But, let's face it . . . your friend had it coming.TPM Sister #102 -

How about just calling her "Kinky Bitch"
ROFL! I couldn't say that one with a straight face when they asked her name at the vet's office!TPM Sister #102 -
QuoteQuoteI would have to get her a spiked collar to go with the whole "Killer" image. I like it!
OMG - you *totally* should!!
Your enthusiasm has rubbed off - even *I'm* excited you're getting a puppy!!
Puppies are awesome. I can't wait for the weekend!!
OH, and I forgot to mention something very important for potential naming purposes--she has a little kinked tail. It looks like a lightning bolt.TPM Sister #102 -

I love it when that happens!! Sometimes a name just fits. What was Bubba like?TPM Sister #102 -
That video was taken just over a year ago, haven't seen him sense. He is apparently doing ok with some ex family members, but I wish I could have him.
Sadly its looking like my next job won't afford me the ability to have a dog either.
That's really hard. Dogs are family! I can see why you'd miss him.TPM Sister #102
QuoteI think we definitely need pics to be able to name her!
I'll have to do that tonight, but I will try! No pics available here at the office, sadly. There's a cute video of her licking a litter mate behind the ears. She's either a great lover or a great nurturer! I love her ears. They are all black in the center, but the edges are outlined in tan. They're kind of floppy now, but will stand up straight as she gets older.
Yeah, I'd have had a hard time walking away from that little one, too! *I* won't tell!
'Firefly' is wicked cool!
