I think I now know why. "By Patrick Weldon on 2003-07-27 | Last Modified on 2005-11-16" so I'm assuming that the study has been over for a long time.

I tried calling and the lady that answered the phone said that there isn't a Dr. Patrick Weldon that works there. I also tried sending an email and it bounced back. Is the study happening and if so how would I go about discussing it with you?

Here is the exit from my first high solo. It was an awesome jump. I hadn't left the plane at 10,000 so I decided to just hover and pay attention heading control. Plus Andy (who I had neverbefore and met on the plane on the way up to altitude on this jump) left right after me and told me on the way up that he was going to do a solo as well but would stay far enough away so that I could enjoy my solo and to look for him off in the distance because I would see him. It was incredible. I was at 8,000 just looking off into the distance with the sun in front of me off to the right about 30 degrees or so and right in front of me about 300-400 feet off maybe more he comes down in a head down track. It was an amazing visual. It really made the skydive special. If someone was with me with a camera it would have been a beautiful picture. He was almost just a shadow because the sun was almost behind him. http://vimeo.com/dandaninc/highsolo I've made a few more jumps as well. I have passed my G1 & G2 as well. They didn't have video as I was jumping with a friend and rigger at my DZ who didn't jump video but hot damn were they awesome!!!! They were both almost flawless. My G2 was especially incredible. I did a rear diving (bomber) exit and we docked right at the bottom of the hill. We were together the entire skydive. It was the skydive where he would go up and I would need to get big and then dock and then he would drop. When he went down I chuckled to myself for a half second because I had never thought I would need to "get small" since I am such a big guy. I was always really good at getting big but for that brief second I was stumped. I didn't go over how to get small because I didn't even think I would ever need to. It was awesome. I got down to him immediatly and docked again. We pulled off 4 solid docs and then broke off at 6,000. I had a beautiful track and really felt it in my calves this time. I wanted to make sure I had a solid perfect track because my friend was on his second go around for his F2 and I wanted to do it for him. He nailed his F2 and I attached a picture of us after this jump. I am the guy on the left and he is the guy on the right. The other picture is from my F2 (tracking) with Ty. It was awesome feeling like superman. :) I might not finish this season due to $ and weather but there is always next season and I will know that I am on my way to getting my A! I am no longer concerned with the license. Every time I leave the aircraft it's amazing and I don't need a license to love being in the door of the plane. CHEERS DROPZONE.COM! Wasn't resurrecting this thread for no reason... Started working at my local DZ packing tandems this season! Oh and yeah.... I passed my Cat A on 6/8/2014 and my Cat B on 6/14/2014 with only a couple things to work on which I did correct! I truly can't wait to go again and only wish I had more money and more time to jump more but I'm sure that's everyone's wish here! I got some fantastic video of my Cat A which can be found in the link below and the camera was having issues for my Cat B which happens so yeah that one was just for me and my incredible instructors!! I can't wait for my C1 and C2!!! I'm 2 steps closer to my A License! The attachment is my fat ass geared up for my Cat A. Anytime buddy! If I didn't just get a new house in July than I would be a regular licensed skydiver by now as well but until next season I'm just glad to help! lol I have to say that it felt so much different this time. After the first tandem and my Cat A and Cat B in 2006 I was amped and couldn't sleep for like a week after each jump. Today I feel more relaxed than I have in years. I think about the jump yesterday and my body makes me take a huge breath and I feel more and more relaxed. Definitely an awesome feeling and I can't wait until I start my AFF again. Thank you!!! FINALLY GOT TO SKYDIVE YESTERDAY!!!! My wife an I moved into a new house so my AFF was out of the question this year due to funds but I was able to get a tandem in!!!! Felt incredible! Pulled, piloted my canopy, and while I was at the door of the plane it was as if I jumped the day before not 7 years ago!!! Going back for a couple more tandems at the end of august and will start my AFF at the beginning of next season! Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement!!!
