How do you pack your sabre 1? Also another benefit to buying an older canopy for a new jumper is they are very easy to pack. Not so slippery like a new canopy would be.

I am jumping a Sabre 1 170, for a first canopy and I feel that it is just fine, if you find a good deal on one go for it. They do open hard unless you learn how to pack it just right. I have not made any mod's to mine but have learned how to slow the opening down a lot by rolling the nose and it works great! Really soft openings!!

I thought about using pvc but wasnt sure. I thought that maybe you would want a little weight to it incase you had to chop it. So that it would fall a litter faster. As for rubber plumbing hose. Wouldn't that fold up with all that force on it from the wind?

I'm trying to make my own skytube (hand held). I have some Ideas, but I'm not quit sure what to use for a ring on the bottom? What have you used to make your skytube? Is there any websites that show how to make one? Any advice would help, THANKS!
