  1. Forgot to mention that if you want more options, check out this movie maker list in an article for a broader selection.
  2. I've been using VideoPad Video Editor for a while now, and it's a user-friendly choice for cutting and editing tandem videos on Windows. It's simple but gets the job done.
  3. Where did you pick up your tongue switch adapter? I assume it's a Sony (whatever that fitting is callled) to 2.5mm adapter cable? Thanks! Jo
  4. Has anyone successfully hard wired a cable trigger into one of the Sony NEX cameras? (similar to what used to be done for the little instant cameras). They seem like a great option to replace a DSLR but there's no cable trigger available - only infrared. Thanks!
  5. Can anyone tell me when a lens listed their angle of view at say 180 degrees, would that really be an effective 108 degrees or so with an APS sized censor? I know angle of view is a combination of format and focal length so I assume this would be the case but am not positive (as I don't own a full frame digital). I'm assuming the lens is NOT made for 1.6x as I've never seen one of those listed with an angle of view of more than say 108 degrees or so. thanks!
  6. So you're saying the D80 has as fast a flash sync as the D70? I know the D70 goes to 1/500 but the D80 is spec'd as 1/200 by Nikon. (I also shoot underwater which is why this is important.) thanks.
  7. I've been shooting a D70 for quite a few years and am moving over to Canon. In general they're both awesome cameras but the Nikon doesn't have a fast flash sync (D80 goes to 1/200 but the slowest film speed is 200). Depending on your applications this may or may not matter. The CMOS sensor that Canon uses is also better technology than Nikon's (IMO). Canon also has motion stabilization in their lenses (although you pay for it). There's a Tokina and Sigma 12-24mm lens that would be a good bet at a moderate price (around $550) when you want to go wide angle from the stock 18-55mm.
  8. Any opinions on hte .45x wide angle put out by waycool? What level of zoom could I expect before noticable distortion kicks in? (i believe it's a single element lens). I'm shooting an HC90 - from what I've found online it seems to be one of the better low profile wide angles out there.
  9. Nope - no wide angle lens. I tried easy mode and i tried the 'focus' button on the front (for the manual) and the only time it's in focus is when it's zoomed all the way in. I'm kind of assuming the focus adjustment is stuck but am not sure.
  10. I just picked up an HC85 and it won't focus in auto or manual. Before I return it I wanted to check if anyone has had an issue like this (i.e. user error) or if the camera is really broken.

    Tetris

I was told to get a Tetris from a buddy who's been competing in RW for many years. He was right. My suit is bombproof, very responsive and service was just awesome. Can't wait to try the freefly suit.
