  1. Hey betzilla,

I definitely understand going to the local pro shop, however, I have a gift certificate from Tony Suit. With that said, the pro shop won't do the measurements for me because I'm not getting the suit through them...they're making no money from me. On this item, that is.

  2. I'm wondering if there's anyone in the South Bay / Los Angeles area that would be willing to help me with measurements. I want to make sure it fits on the first fitting. Not real confident in my measuring skills or if there are little tricks to measuring accurately. Anyone know of someone in this area?

  3. Hey everyone,

Just checking in to see who has a Tony Suit, "Swoop Suit". I have a gift certificate & I'm thinking of getting one. I have a regular TS right now, which is 10 years old, so it's time to get a new wardrobe.

What are your thoughts on it? Got pics of yours?

  4. Hey everyone,

Just checking to see if anyone knows if "PEC" is still in business. I need to get my FT 50 altimeter serviced and I can't find a phone number or correct address for them.

    Thanks, in advance.

  5. Well, do to some actions that fall short of the realm of "logical", I am now being layed off. :| I'm looking for help in finding some work; if anyone hears of anything in the Southern California area. My current experience has been in F&B, but I'd really like to find something where I'd have nights and weekends off. If anyone has any suggestions, give me a holler, please.

    Thanks.

  6. DeNReN,

I've got to say that is an amazing story...and one that none of us could come close to touching. Congrats on your success with your goals and kickin' the cancer in the balls!

Since you asked, though...4 1/2 year hiatus because of a shoulder injury, and I'm back. Completed my goal for 2008 which was to hit my 300th jump. 2009 is going to be a tough one, mainly financially, because I want to get onto a 4-way team...but I'll be getting married! How do I sneak funds to jumping when they'll need to go to flowers, a cake, a venue, a tux (I opted for my jumpsuit...that didn't go over well), and all the other wedding hype.

Keep your head up and stay focused on your future goals. I really admire you for keeping at it when they days probably seemed very dark. Thumbs up to you!

  7. Well...after 5 years and 6+ months, I'm finally at the door of the proverbial (sp?) plane of life. This past weekend I proposed! I still can't belive I finally did it. Great thing is that she is FULLY aware of my love for skydiving and already knows my thoughts on people who try to get me to stop. She's a supporter, just not a participant.

Ladies, please try to hold back the tears. ;)

  8. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone out there who I've jumped with since this past July. After taking a 4 1/2 year break from what I love, I was able to ditch the "247", that I was stuck at, and finally hit my 300th jump, yesterday! I know it's not a "milestone" with dips in the pool and pies in the face, but it felt good after being grounded.

It's time to set a new goal...get in on a 4-way team, doing some big ways, learn to freefly...hmmm...

  9. Hey everyone/anyone who might have tomorrow(11/24/08) off,

Going to be heading out to Perris to do some RW if anyone else has the time to go. Some of you may have the week off for the T-Day Holiday, others may just want to ditch work. Whatever it is, come on out!

    See you out there!
