  1. wow, that doesn't even look real anymore. I know it is, because I saw Jeb Corliss posting pictures during his dive, and I assume this is the same outing. but sheesh, too much photo manipulation going on here.

Shermie, why in the world would you hold a snake that you can't identify?

You have a young daughter that will get curious. Let it go.

    It looks dead

Yeah, the loop of innards and the bloated section look like many roadkill snakes I've seen in my neighborhood.

Yup, this one was road kill. Heehee, but the four foOter the laborers killed last week wasn't. When I saw it there I the road, and still mostly intact, I just had to have some fun with it.

  3. I found this little guy at work. I've been holding him all day, I'm curious if anyone can tell me what kind of snake it is. Yorba Linda, ca, so I'm guessing just like a gopher snake or something like that?

  5. Being "in love" is too often confused with lust. If you can't get past that that feeling will not always be there, then you will never be ready for a real long term relationship. I've been married for almost five years, and I love my wife with everything I have. It's not always fairytale love, but that is parrot the fun, if it was always perfect, things would get boring around here

  7. Some vaccuums, like the one I have, has two three position switch, off, flat floor, carpet. The flat floor runs the vaccuums but does not run the brushes. (it is a belt less vaccuums)

  8. This would be a good opportunity for USPA to contact the media for some sort of press conference, or interview, where they can talk about how rare this is, how it has been dealt with, and the difference between a USPA dz, and non USPA dz... ...

I have huge respect for stay at home parents. It is harder than a full time job

No it's not...i'm so sick of hearing that.

To each their own. In the time period that I lost my job, and my wife was working, I was more worn out at the end of the day staying home with my daughter than when I am working full time.

  10. I'm 28, married, with a three almost four year old, and one in the oven. Our goal was always to have mom stay at home, but financially, that was not possible. God has blessed us, and about six months ago, holly became a stay at home mom. It has been the best thing for all of us! I can see a difference in my daughter's attitude since the change. As for the sacrifice, yes, we are on less income, but not spending 700 a month on childcare. We don't get to go on dates as often, and live in a smaller two bedroom apartment.

I have huge respect for stay at home parents. It is harder than a full time job! I know, I've done both!

I have a lot of respe
