Well, my club unfortunately closes for 4 months over the winter, and due to work commitments i wasnt able to get back to the UK or anywhere else to jump during that period. Theyre re-opening this weekend, so gonna jump for the first time since. Im only an A-certificate holder with 30 jumps, so I intend to whack out a few solos and fun jumps to get the excitement and relaxation flowing again. I had a slightly shorter lay-off last summer(damn military love to mess with my social life!!), and when I jumped again I was nervous as hell, and I was rigid as a board when I jumped, and I dont really want to be like that again. I had a pretty good body position just before this lay off, I was sarting to plough through some WARP training, and I was calm throughout. However, I think it might be different this weekend. So anyone got any advice to try and prevent or calm nerves and help the skydive go a bit better than last time?!! Cheers JB -
Thanks, not much info in this site, was wonderin if anyone had any personal experience! Thanx anyway

Hi all, Im brand new to skydiving, having only one tandem under my belt, but ever since then I have wanted to take it up properly! I am soon to be moving to Cyprus, and see this a the perfect opportunity to do my AFF! I will most likely do the course at Dhekelia, which is a military DZ, so I beleive it is governed by BPA? Im finding it difficult to find info on the DZ, so I was wondering if anyone had any experiences? Is it military courses only during the week, or can I do an intensive AFF?? Also info on training and standards etc.. Your help would be greatly appreciated Many thanks Jamie
