    Some years ago, Dear Abby did a poll of women: "Would you rather have sex or cuddle?" Overwhelmingly, the women who answered the poll wanted to cuddle.

    If I recall correctly, this wasn't that many years after the Hite Report (70s) told us that only one in three women experience orgasm through intercourse alone. And it was a time when oral sex still wasn't talked about all that much, although I believe that some men perceived their divine right to fellatio, even if cunnilingus never occurred to them. Further, I had a black male friend tell me that black guys don't go down on women (this, at least, I have a date for: 1977), but I believe that has changed in the intervening years.

    We now have evidence that insists women have more powerful orgasms than men. And women talk about sex--a lot--and seem to be having more interesting sexual experiences than in the past. But I have run into a lot of guys who still think that if a woman doesn't have an orgasm before they do, there's nothing they can do about it.

    So even though women can experience sexual pleasure, maybe some of them aren't just because the men in their lives are unimaginative.

    Just a thought.
