  1. I just got back from a short vacation in Empuriabrava, it sure was a journey to get there from Afghanistan but I made it very easily using public transportation and a short walk.
Go vartical was ongoing while I was there and the view from 16k is excellent. While the Beech99, Otter and Porter were flying everything was going well and I was able to average 10 jumps per day, however, one day the p orter didn't fly and the otter was only flying tandems and AFFs so the fun jumpers were limited to only manifesting on the Beech which meant 2 hour wait time between loads.
The bar had in my opinion the wost service I have ever seen, took forever to get serviced, although the food was pretty good and at night it was pretty good atmosphere.
Just like the previous review, the proshop was quite expensive and I couldn't find a shirt from the DZ to save my life.

Overall, I think this is a great DZ and I recommend it to anyone wanting to travel a bit and see something new. The people are very friendly and the office ladies are great, very accomodating and friendly. I would certainly return.

  2. Well I have been jumping at this DZ for 2 years now and I just forgot to come here and post a review. If you are a first time skydiver and are planning to start off with a tandom, you will like this place, if you are an AFF student be prepared to be grounded because of winds but one you do get to jump the staff is great and very experienced. I consider this to be my home dz and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

  3. I went to z-hills last year for Christmas and I loved it, although we got a bit of rain they get the planes up soon after it stops. Facilities are great and so its the bonfire. Met a bunch of Europeans that were visiting and I can't wait until this year's Christmas boogie, I will be there again.

  4. This being my first time to Ireland I had to have a taste of some good ol’ Irish fun so I had to go visit the IPC. I drove there from the Dublin airport and it took my a bit over an hour to get there. I will highly recommend renting a talking GPS unit from the rental car place to make your life a lot easier. I don’t think I could have found it just using a map, they did however give me good directions when I requested them by email.
Once I arrived I received a warm welcome by the staff, got my rig inspected and manifested. Even though it rains a lot, they don’t hesitate to get a load up in between rain showers.
The food and facilities were phenomenal and the vive was pretty good too.
If you are planning on visiting Ireland and want to get some jumping done don’t hesitate to visit this place. They are a bunch of crazy funny people there, go check them out. I will certainly go back someday.
