  1. You can't really go wrong with your choices. I would personnaly buy a Vector3 for the skyhook and the history of reliability, customer service and quality of Relative Workshop. Check out the Evolution! program too: www.zoodive.com to see how you can downsize for free after jumping your main for a year. You will also get free Skyhook and free hiprings. Not only you save money, you save time, but you also get to really know your canopy and practice with it before you downsize. Just a thought, good luck! ZooDive.com
  2. Why not? Most people seem to really like them. I tried a brand new pilot 150 and it felt like a very big canopy. I like canopies that are a little more responsive to toggle inputs and sabre2 or Safire2 seemed better at the time. Again that's my personal experience. I did hear good things about Pilots, I also heard bad things about Aerodyne quality control from several riggers and instructors... but again I've never had any issues with them since I've never owned one!
  3. Thanks, It's risky operation, but it's worth it for students... Zoodive.com
  4. In my opinion: -I would go with Safire2. -You can't go wrong between Sabre2 and Safire2 -I didn't like the Pilot at all Bottom line: try them! Zoodive.com
  5. On this note, I would recommend checking out the Evolution! program from www.ZooDive.com. You can downsize for free after 6 to 1year so you can take your time and be conservative using an intermediate size canopy. Flip
  6. Have you even heard of WileyX?
  7. Which brand do you like best for skydiving? WileyX or GatorZ? Zoodive.com
  8. Most students learn on a 200 or bigger. The program is really aiming for people that have a couple hundred jumps and who are thinking about getting a rig of their own and are not willing to go through the used-gear-selling process and the used-gear-buying process again. Of course a lighter newly-graduated student could take the offer, but that same jumper could just buy any used rig anywhere else anyway. At least now he (or she :)) won't be as tempted to directly go for a smaller size to save money since he can jump a bigger canopy basically free for a while. As an AFF instructor myself, rest assured that I never sell anything unreasonable to anyone. If the program ends up being a concern for safety, we’ll just cancel it or change it. If you guys would like to see another offers for more experienced jumpers, packages or whatever, let us know, we’ll make it happen. We are trying hard to provide good service, and programs like Evolution! are here for the community. ZooDive.com
