I had no idea how emotive this subject would be and I am sorry that it has become a war zone of words when all I wanted to know was where to do my AFF without implicating anyone in particular and making this thread a place to slag off DZ's so publicly. I suppose I should have worded my thread a bit better.
For the record I have had dealings with most of the the DZ's mentioned and I have found that their customer service and attitude have been impeccable and they have only been too happy to help and answer questions I needed answering. What happens next is down to me or anyone else taking up the challenge of doing their AFF no matter where or who it is with.
I am still undecided about where to go but I know that I will make the right decision for my skydiving career.

I take it you have plenty of faith in the weather in that neck of the woods for January then.

Ironically I am a really crap at combining airliners and flying so the shorter the haul the better is one reason, silly I know.
Why, where are you looking to do your training?

I have looked into go further away but it does seem to be that much cheaper going closer to home taking into consideration budget airline fares. Put it this way the money I could save will go towards the first rig.

I do like the look of Lillo in Spain.

I am looking for a suitable DZ/AFF school in Europe to do my AFF (Excluding the UK) and was hoping that some of you might have some personal reccomendations, warnings or tips that I should be aware of. I am keen to go as soon as possible (maybe Jan/Feb).
