  1. As a relatively experienced jumper that has jumped at numerous DZ's throughout the continental US this has been one of the best jump experiences I have ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! Tyson does a great job of balancing a business while keeping it laid back and fun. The manifest and office girls do an amazing job of making you feel welcome and making sure you have anything you need. I marked middle of the road for aircraft... They have two really nice Caravan's, but can only take up 10-12 at a time. On the flip side, there is plenty of room to stretch out on the way to altitude. As far as landing area, I did not land at the alternate landing area. But, the main landing area is nice and lush green grass. Just watch out for airport traffic, and it's a little tight. This is why they need two landing areas, and I think it is a great idea! As far as load organizing and dz regulars; I showed up knowing no one, and can't wait to go back! Dave helped me out by showing me around, and his wonderful wife Deb got me in my first ever RW "competition". It was a blast, and can't believe at 1,300+ jumps I hadn't done one before. Luckily Linny and Christy were coaching me along and showing me the ropes of RW. Scenery... You WILL not find a more beautiful scenic DZ in the country! At altitude we could easily see Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, and Mt. St. Helens. Not to mention the rest of the Cascades and Snohomish river below. Absolutely breathtaking! Overall this is an awesome medium size dz, with most the perks of a big dz, and all the perks of a small dz! I can't wait to get back there and jump!!! Blue Skies, Johnny Gunn
