Im looking for Vector II owner's manual. I tried RW website, but they only have tandem one. I emailed them but haven't heard anything back. Does anyone know where i can get a copy of the manual? I basically just want know the standard procedure for packing a Vector. Very much appreciated.

I emailed them and just got a response back 08/14. I quote "We hope within a month or so." Still waiting...

I think i will go with Odyssey. I demoed it and Infinity at CASA on saturday and loved it.

I'm def. going for a used canopy, i was just thinking of getting a new container so it fits me better, and i'll use it for a while before downsizing. for instance during AFF the RTS was too big for me, no matter how tight the leg straps were

Hello, i'm looking to buy a rig soon (within 3-4 weeks), I'll try and do that after i get my A license (if i can finish it before i have to go back to school), and i'm looking for good recommendations. I'm 5'8, ~144-145lbs. I did some research and reading on the gear for my future rig that i would like to buy new next summer. I've narrowed it down to Containers: Infinity Racer 2k3 Javelin Odyssey Wings Mirage G4 Main canopy: Firebolt Sabre2 Safire2 Reserve most likely is PD. I'd like to know if getting a 180-190 (maybe even 170?) canopy is too soon or not? I've been jumping 220 and 210 during AFF, will try and get some jumps on something smaller tomorrow. I've had no problems at all with these larger canopies, all stand up landings Any advice is appreciated.

Hi, i'm actually planning on starting AFF there next weekend. Website says you can take the train and the car service from the train stop to the airport. How much does the car service run?

How much do 25 jumps run roughly? I've been looking at various websites and prices are different. Some say coaching jumps, some say only AFF1-7, some say RW jumps. So i far I calculated somewhere between $2500-3000, with all the rental fees and memberships

You mean 3 tandems+7 AFP in a weekend/couple days?

Hi, i never jumped before but i'm planning on starting next week over at Skydive Long Island in Calverton. I'm wondering if i can complete A certification before Aug.26th, pretty much I'll have eight weekends, since i'm working mon-fri full time. Also if anyone jumped over there, I know a train goes there and then u take a taxi cab (anyone knows how much that costs?). Just wanna know if i can finish off before that, since on 26th i'm going back to college. I can jump at Finger Lakes in fall though. Will the remainder of solo jumps there count towards certification or I'm supposed to perform them all at the same place?

When you go thru the program w/o interruption, how frequently do you jump? Every day? Couple times a day? couples times a week?

Hello everyone, I'm a total newbie to skydiving world. I've been reading about it (on this forum and other literature) about it though. I really wanna start doing it this summer. I'm 19 years old, college student. I'd like to know whether it's wise to save money i'll earn over the summer and buy a rig or just keep using rentals (do they provide those, say after u complete basic certification, ~25 jumps if i understood you correctly). I understand that this is a pretty expensive sport. Basically while in college i don't spent much money (pretty much don't spend at all, since my college is in a very rural area, local town is like a 1000 people). There is a skydving club like 2 hours away or so. I'm thinking about getting certification this summer. I'll have about ~1500-2000 by the end of the summer left. I'm 5'8" ~140 pounds. I play tennis for college, and in charge of our paintball club. I really would like to pick this sport up. Can you please recommend any good rigs. From what i heard Javelin is very good. But i'm still confused how to pick the right size. Any tips on any subject will be appreciated. Sorry for such a long post. Thanks in advance.
