  1. I agree with your comments , his equipment and dropzone, his rules . I think there is a basic lack of understanding of flips here and ignorance breeds fear. I was taught a philosiphy along with doing tandems so I understand both ways of doing things, and am open to hear other techniques for safely doing tandems. I am wondering how many of you where ever taught about sidespins of if you've ever had one and what causes one or even how to deal with one? (and No flips dont cause them) .
  2. wow now I am UN-professional because I do flips on exit? What kind of logic is that? Boy, that is very broad paintbrush my friend.
  3. P206 and yes I didnt say I couldnt do a stable exit out of one but that our DZO more or less requires it.
  4. I was taught flips from day one and have done them on 99% of the tandems . Our DZO requires that we do them out of the 206 . I have never had any problems by doing them . So I guess it's more of a philosiphy and training than a safety issue as I see it , of course my opinion and a $1.00 will get you a cup of coffee most places.
  5. yea it is pretty amazing up here I never get bored of looking out the windows on way to up. We have an awsome boogie over summer solsitce real laid back , lots of unique jumps like midnight jump that doesn't count for a night jump and a glacier jump that rocks, great food , free beer , it really does make for an awsome trip.
  6. first off up until the Korean war vets where able to retain their weapons after service to the country and yes that even included automatic weapons, second if the 2nd amnd. doesn't apply to individuals then neither does rest of them, third go read the fedralist papers and you see very clearly why its an individual right. fourthly this has been discussed to nuasea there are just people out there that will never see it as a right and they will argue guns are bad , guns are evil, and thats why they will remain sheeple and rely on someone else to protect them (and their rights) from the wolves of the world.
  7. well polor fleace is always good I just dress normal since its warm there all year by my standards and dont think is in 30's there except maybe at night.
  8. yea I usually go to Eloy or something a couple times during the winter. I hit the Holiday boogie there or the Alaska/Canada inv. . I am working at Skydive Sedona for the winter this year.
  9. I just signed on and thought I would just say "HI" to everyone. I have been in the sport about 6 yrs. , I have somewhere's around 900+ jumps , tandem , and static line ratings I work at Alaska Skydiving in the summer . "yes ma'am trust me I do this all the time"
