  1. Amazing advert, well done everyone!
  2. Training has begun for the new series of Africa's got talent!
  3. Does anyone know where i can buy the screw that fits a sony cam to the housing of an 2k FF2 in the UK? Thanks.
  4. Yes, i have phoned that number. It says "i'm sorry this number is currently out of service."
  5. Does anyone know what happened to Swansea Skydiving? I went down there May bank holiday for the first time, had fun made a few jumps bought a load of jump tickets. Went back last weekend and the dropzones all closed down. I'm left with a pocket full of useless jump tickets as i guess a lot of jumpers are. Any body have news or know how to redeem tickets?
  6. Since the guy would probably still be alive if his cypres was checked as the rules say it should, I don't think its far of topic really.
  7. Its not cutting corners its being realistic. In the busy enviroment of a weekend at the dropzone no way do all the A-licence jumpers have their cypres checked visually and for everyone not just the A's "yes i have turned my cypres on" is as far as it goes.
  8. Yes, thats right, according to the BPA when I have done 5 more accuracy landings I will be much better qualified to turn my cypres on.
  9. I am still A-licence after 340 jumps as is my friend i started jumping with who is pushing 500. My group of jumping buddies all check eachother on the flightline and ask the usual "cypres on?" question but never has anybody actually checked my cypres visually. I would hope that a "yes, my cypres is on" is enough. I'm pretty easy going but if someone a lot less exoerienced than me, allbeit B licenced asked me to undo or take my rig off on the flight line after I had told them my cypres was on I could see myself taking exception.
  10. Just to get past that little hyjacking any further info/advice would be greatfully received.
  11. Paul, we both know you have 80 jumps not 480 and that the head down picture is just something you pulled off the net. For the grown ups amongst us the rig is not for me to jump, well not this week anyway.
  12. That was my point, that a pd126 would be too tight, i was thinking a 120 and looking for advice on one that packs small. Thanks for the input.
  13. Yer, checked that out and it doesn't look promising but a lot of people are saying they have had sabre 135's in NJ's.
